Provides permanent storage-reference unit for blocks embedded in cassettes or embedding rings. The Tisssue-Tek^® Cassette Filing Cabinet accommodates 1500 cassettes or 1000 embedding rings. One-piece construction eliminates hinges and doors for dust-free storage. Includes six impact-resistant plastic drawers with identification area.

Modular Storage Cabinet for Embedding Cassettes and Embedding Rings

A set of 6 stackable drawer cabinets stores 1,500 cassettes or 1,000 embedding rings. Made of high impact polystyrene

These stackable drawer cabinets provide permanent storage and identification for up to 165 embedding rings (PELCO 27169) or 250 cassettes (PELCO 27164) per drawer. The slim cabinets are stackable, thanks to the interlocking ridges on the top and bottom. Identification labels are included. We recommend a maximum stack of 6 drawers.

HeldSecure™ Microscope Slide/Tissue Cassette Storage Kit

HeldSecure™ is a practical and economical microscope slide and tissue cassette storage system. These durable corrugated trays and boxes provide reliable storage and identification for archival slides and cassettes. The HeldSecure™ slide kit contains 4 trays and is designed to hold up to 2,000 slides. The HeldSecure™ tissue cassette kit contains 8 trays and is capable of storing 500 cassettes per box. Each kit is equipped with 50 In/out cards and 25 index cards for retrieval and documentation. Bulk cards and tray labels are available separately as accessories.

Centered tabs on each box comprise a unique interlocking stacking system that keeps the boxes aligned and stable. The units can stack up to 8-10 high. HeldSecure™ offers a double internal corrugated construction supporting up to 250 lbs. yet allowing easy access to the trays. Archival storage is a necessary part of most histology, pathology and research laboratories. The HeldSecure™ Slide/Cassette Storage Kit is sold in packs of 10, unassembled, with assembly instructions printed on the bottom of each box. This preserves storage space until the need arises and the kits are then available and easily assembled.

OmniStor Slide & Cassette Storage System

Provides affordable, sturdy slide storage for Super Mega slides and cassettes

The OmniStor Super Mega Cabinet (#21100) is supplied with one standard size drawer and seven Super Mega sized drawers, each capable of housing 30 Super Mega processing cassettes or approximately 260 Super Mega unmounted microscope slides.

The OmniStor 15-Drawer Slide Cabinet (#21100-1) has the same dimensions as the conventional 14-drawer slide cabinet but has been redesigned. The runner system is now at the bottom of the drawer, rather than the side, allowing a 15th drawer in the cabinet, increasing the storage capacity by 7%.

The OmniStor 2-Drawer Block and Slide Storage Cabinet (#21100-2) is supplied complete with the Blue Box Inserts (#21100-5) that are designed to fit in this 2-drawer cabinet. When full, the Blue Box may be lifted out for long term storage. The Blue Box is made from high-density polystyrene, offering lightweight rigidity, moisture resistance and fire retardant materials. When used to store tissue blocks the Blue Box trays can be interlocked and stacked on top of one another.

The black, heavy-duty OmniStor Base (#21100-3, 21100-4) is capable of supporting up to 10 OmniStor cabinets. Available with and without wheels.

These cabinets incorporate an ‘easylock’ system which allows the secure location of stacked cabinets without the removal of cabinet drawers, screw plates and fixings. This means that users can simply slide and lock the cabinets on top of one another.

CellNass SmartStor Slide & Cassette Storage System

The CellNass SmartStor Cabinet System is manufactured from corrosion-protected steel and has been specifically designed to maximize the number of slides and or blocks it can hold.

There is an optional Static Base (#21102-2) or Wheeled/lockable Heavy-duty Base Plinth (#21102-3). The SmartStor Lid (#21102-4) completes the set.

It is recommended that no more than five cabinets be stacked on top of each other at one time.

The CellNass SmartStor 8-Drawer Block Storage Cabinet (#21102-1) incorporates eight drawers, each able to accommodate a SmartStor Archive Box for standard size cassette blocks (#21102-5).

The BlocStor range of tissue block storage products is manufactured from recycled fiberboard and provides a cost-efficient archiving and storage solution. All boxes are designed for strength, rigidity, long term archiving of tissue blocks, and for maximum utilization of storage space.

Every BlocStor is supplied with a pre-printed archive label for clear identification and rapid retrieval. BlocStor boxes are available assembled or flat-packed for efficient use of your space.
